After an extended period of inactivity, the Halo Infinite Master Chief Collection has returned. The process to obtain the Halo Infinite Battle Pass is largely the same as it was in the past, with the requisite amount of grinding, but the halo community is still waiting for the halo community to halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo halo

The latest trial of the Halo Infinite multiplayer beta has started, and over the next several weeks, it will be possible to earn Battle Pass rewards for playing multiplayer. The Battle Pass will be available for purchase in the coming weeks, and will provide access to exclusive skins, weapons, and more than 100 other items. But, to start, Halo fans need to link their Microsoft accounts to Xbox Live.

The latest update for Halo Infinite has made it clear that 343 Industries is hoping players keep playing beyond the launch of the game, and if you’ve completed the game, the studio wants you to continue to play to unlock all the different types of rewards you can obtain in the game.

Halo Infinite Battle Pass Progression Tied to Challenges, No XP Per Completed Match At Launch

At launch, Halo Infinite will not provide XP for finishing matches, according to developer 343 Industries. Instead, the Battle Pass advancement in the forthcoming first-person shooter will be linked to challenges.

“Playing and winning matches will be challenges, which will help players advance through the Battle Pass,” Community Manager John Junyszek said.

While this does imply that playing matches will help you earn Battle Pass prizes to some degree, Halo Infinite fans aren’t pleased with the new advancement system. Some players are concerned that they may be compelled to play in ways they do not like.

Others are opposed to the notion of running out of daily challenges and being unable to advance at their preferred rate, but Junyszek did say that running out of daily tasks would be “very difficult,” blaming their low quantity in the Tech Preview on a glitch.

While “daily challenges for playing matches is the goal for launch,” 343 Industries is “always exploring for methods to extend advancement across the board,” according to Head of Design Jerry Hook, who promised further information in a forthcoming blog on Halo Waypoint.

The change in approach to Battle Pass advancement comes after Halo Infinite’s multiplayer component became free-to-play and its Battle Passes did not expire, both of which were deemed consumer-friendly improvements.

There was a problem with the Tech Preview that led individuals to run out of challenges. While our current launch plans aren’t “infinite,” they do make it very tough to complete daily tasks. I won’t say “impossible” since some grinders exist, but I’d be impressed.
